Description
This embroidered cape is lined in a black fabric. It has no labels. The collar and edges are hand stitched. I cannot see the reverse side of the embroidery to be sure it is hand embroidered. The fabric appears to be a lightweight wool or wool blend. It is not a heavy cape. There is a looped button at the top and below that there are hook and eye closures. Most capes are a free size, however this one has defined shoulders measuring 16″ across, and the collar/neckline is fairly small, so I would estimate it to be a Medium or a size 8. Circa ? 1970s.
