SHIPPING

Free shipping on all domestic orders (Canada & USA) over $150. For all orders below $150, a $25 flat rate shipping fee applies. On all international orders a $350 minimum order is required for free shipping, otherwise a $75 flat rate fee applies. Items are shipped with insurance that is included in the shipping fee.

If the Buyer wishes to return an item that has been purchased from Quiet West Vintage, the return shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. If the Buyer is not satisfied with the item, the Buyer is encouraged to contact quietwest@yahoo.com in order to resolve the issue. If an item does have flaws, the Buyer will be contacted and made aware of the details prior to sending it out.

On International orders where shipping is more costly, Quiet West will make every effort to keep customers happy. If the product was shipped under the flat rate fee, or under the free shipping guidelines, the original shipping costs will be deducted on all returns. The Buyer will be offered a store credit to offset the cost of return shipping. Standard shipping will be via Canada Post. Once your order is shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number.

TAXES

Products are listed with the taxes included in the price. The tax details, depending on location and country code, are tabulated when the purchase is made and kept track of in the stores accounting system.

RETURNS

Returns will be accepted only with the approval of Quiet West Vintage, less shipping. When you receive your items, please inspect them and make sure they meet your expectations. Please notify us within 24 hours if you are unhappy with the purchase and wish to return the merchandise. Returns received without prior written notice, or outside the specified timelines, will not be honoured. Return items must be in the exact condition as sent and received within seven (7) days of the original shipping date. The condition and acceptance of the returned merchandise will be determined at the sole discretion of Quiet West Vintage. We carefully inspect, photograph, describe in detail, and document item condition before shipping.

If the customer chooses to exchange merchandise or register a store credit when making a return, we will issue a store credit that includes a 10% discount on the next purchase to help offset the return shipping costs. Store credits on returned items do not have an expiry date. They can be used at any time in the future. To redeem store credits for online items at www.quietwest.com, you can make your selections and notify us when you are ready to use the credit.

The Buyer is responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs. Shipping charges are not refundable. On the condition that Free Shipping was offered on the purchase and a return is requested, the store will credit the cost of the merchandise minus the original shipping costs.

Once an item is purchased and paid for, it is prepared for shipping, and shipped promptly, often the next day. If there are any delays in shipping, the customer will be notified.

If an order is cancelled after payment is received, the customer must send an email to indicate a desire to cancel the order, before the order is sent out. Once it is sent, it cannot be retrieved, in order to cancel it, and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
