Conrad Lingerie 1960’s Draped Jumpsuit For The Kool-Aid Bus Trip

$295.00

Description

This most unique 1960’s lounger, is made by Conrad Lingerie, of Montreal, Canada. It features two printed panels, draping down both the front and the back, to create a unique style of wearable art, and to disguise the fact it is a jumpsuit. But if you turn sideways, it’s a dead give away. I have never seen anything designed quite like this one. Or, if you undo the front panel, you expose – the jumpsuit! It might have been the perfect outfit for the LSD kool-aid bus trip back in the sixties. But if it had been, it probably would not have survived it, so all is well. It is made of a beautiful, vibrant pink rayon, printed with green, blue and yellow patterns. The draping portions feature a rich, top to toe, art nouveau image, in matching colours. From the side, you see the smaller coloured patterns, that cover the jumpsuit. The front panel fastens at the shoulder with snaps. The jumpsuit has a zippered front and wide bell legs. The label indicates it is a size 9. It measures bust 36″ and length 53″. It could easily be worn as a summer outfit. The condition is excellent.
