Description
This very interesting and somewhat rustic large necklace features a range of lamp work and Murano glass beads. The large blue lamp work beads measure 1.75″ long. The cobalt blue textured beads measure .75″ each. The blue decorated Murano glass beads measure .5″ in diameter x .25″ wide. The large Murano glass bead in the centre on the upper strand is .75″ in diameter and one of the nicest beads. This necklace is hard to date, but it does look old judging by the beads and the silver spacers. The clasp is a large hook. The silver chain part has large round silver metal circles with a spiral configuration. The overall length is 32″. The front section with all the beads measures 15″. My guess it that it is originally from the middle east.
