This interesting pendant is intricately carved in one piece. It is lightweight, and has a silver tone bail. It has no markings. The pyrite shows up with magnification, otherwise it looks solid black. It measures 1.25″ in diameter, and is in very good condition. The estimated age is 1920s or earlier. It looks like it could be a remnant from the Victorian era mourning jewelry.
