Description
This unique bridal cape, has not been worn. It is made of a fine, synthetic, sheer netting; with a lilting, floral, lace trimmed edging, sweeping down the front, around the bottom, to the train, and again – in the 24″ wide bell sleeves. The lace is synthetic, with extensive couching, or laid work on the surface. The white cord arranged over top of the lace, to create the textured surface, is hand stitched, which is quite a feat, given the amount of trim on this dress. Among the features of this bridal cape, are the options on what to wear underneath it. It could also have looped button holes, and small white buttons put on the front, to make it into a dress, with a silk or satin under slip.
It curves around, to be longer in the back, creating a train that spreads out nicely for photos. It’s rather ingenious, because, unlike most bridal dresses with a train, this one is not the least bit bulky. When spread out, it covers a queen size bed. Fabric is polyester 100%. Estimated size 6, notably small in the shoulders. It measures shoulder to shoulder 14″ sleeve length 24″ sleeve bell diameter 24″ bust 34″ waist 28″ hips 36″ length from the front 58″ and from the back 77″. The condition is excellent. It would be an awesome bridal cape for a tropical beach wedding, worn with a one piece, white, Valentino swim suit, and white neoprene go go boots! You could wade into the water, with the train floating behind, for sunset photos. The sky is the limit with this one!
