Description
This gorgeous Frascara dress is substantial, and structured in fabric and design. The bodice is boned and lined. The skirt is lined, and features a bouffant bubble hem. The fabric on the skirt is exquisite. The flowers on the skirt vary between a coppery bronze colour, and silver with copper coloured centres. The surrounding black fabric is imprinted with a leaf-like pattern. The dress without the jacket – has narrow straps and a side zipper closure. The jacket is cropped and made of the same fabric as the bodice. It does not have shoulder pads. The jacket is accented with a beautiful arrangements of appliqued flowers to match the metallic flowers on the skirt. The bodice and jacket fabric is 58% silk and 45% wool. Size 8 on the label. The dress measures Bust 33-34″ Waist 28″ Hips 36″. The jacket measures Shoulder to shoulder 14.5″ Sleeves 19″ Length 16″. Made in Canada. Circa 1990s-early 2000. It is in excellent condition.
