$295.00

Description

This interesting and intricate antique brass button has an open work centre featuring a man leaning forward over animals. His right arm is raised, and resting on what looks like an anvil. The man is dressed in tailcoats and is wearing a helmet. One of the animals looks like a lion, and the other animal with a curved tail, and front legs up, might be a dog. The central image is mounted on a metal cross bar on the back of the button. The outside border has a repousse raised design. It has a lot of detail for one button. It measures 1.7″ in diameter.
