JuxtaPose Women’s Roles ~ On Black & White Poles

Wired with lace –

Just a corset away

From a skirt with a cage.

Put your head in a thimble

We all must be nimble –

Each end has a point ~

Yet we can’t find the middle.

To sheer black & white

Spin day into night.

A wish we must wash

For where we have been –

Shows shades of grey.

And all we can say –

After all we have seen?

Some never get dirty…

And some never come clean.
