This dress does not have any fabric content label, but it is a medium dense quality cotton. It has a metal back zipper typical of the 1950s with a hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper. The condition is good with one exception. The neckline on each side is sligtly gathered. Underneath the gathering, it looks a bit discoloured but could be from the gold print. It does not show on the exterior of the dress. There is a substantial amount of fabric in the dress due to the wide flounce on the bottom.
It measures Bust 37″ or pit to pit 18.5″ Waist is 30″ Hips 38″ Sleeves are gathered and measure 4″. The arm opening on the sleeve measures 7″ across flat. Neck opening is 14″ with slight gathering on each side. It is slightly longer at the back. It measures 54″ from the centre back, and 52″ from the front. A wearable dress.
