Description
Lore Maria Wiener was a prominent mid-century designer in Vancouver. The Vancouver Art Gallery featured one of her dresses for the cover of a 2020 exhibit titled “Modern In The Making: Post War Craft & Design in British Columbia”. She submitted her final piece when she was 90 years old. This 1960’s coat has slight gatherings on the front and back to give it the elegant drape. It is maxi length and black in colour but looks dark navy in certain lighting. It is in very good condition. Made in Canada.
