Tightly Pleated 1930’s – 1950’s Black Taffeta Skirt – USA

This vintage taffeta skirt features very narrow, tight pleats, and the hemline is done in a way to create an almost bubble effect. However it is not as bouffant as most 1950’s bubble style skirts. It has no labels. It does have an iconic Talon metal zipper, which is a strong indication it was made in the US, because they were manufactured in the US from 1893, and flourished until the 1960’s. This unique vintage skirt is in very good condition. It measures Waist 27″ Hips 38″ Length 28″.
