Description
This sweet red and white 1970’s Ted Lapidus dress, is from the time frame, when the designer transitioned from an exclusive focus on haute couture, to create a pret-a-porter line. It is a summer time, go anywhere dress, with some nice features. The fabric is acetate 83% and polyester 17%. The base colour is red, with an abstract pattern of small white splotches. The skirt also has wide pleats, and drapes in soft folds, from a slight drop waist. The skirt has slide pockets on each side. The dress is unlined. The size on the label is 38. It measures shoulder to shoulder 15″ bust 42″ waist 30″ hips free and length 39″. The condition is very good other than a small mark near the hem. Made in France.
