This well crafted necklace is 800 silver and is stamped 56 AK. The 800 silver was used in Europe mostly between 1800 – 1920. I believe this may be an early Atasay Kuyumculuk necklace. The company was founded in Turkey in the 1930’s. It is stamped AK on the clasp. The beads on this necklace look like they are from the Middle East. The necklace is hand made of heavy links. It has open beads that have been carved and crafted in a single piece, every three inches along the length of the necklace. There are nine beads in total. The necklace measures 30″ long and is stamped 800 + 56 + AK
